Dana Hamric

President & CEO

Dana Hamric founded Hamric Capital in 2004 and currently serves as its President & CEO. He has over 20 years of healthcare, real estate and capital markets experience through all business cycles and is considered a thought leader in the United States to the independent physician community. Dana has led, structured or advised on over $1 billion in healthcare real estate recently.

Dana has a passion to serve independent physicians and providers, their administration and their organizations by providing leadership, strategy and execution in the areas of growth, capital and real estate. He has served some of the largest, most successful and fastest-growing independent physician practices, healthcare providers and institutional investors in the U.S.

He previously served as Senior Managing Director of Global Healthcare Services at Newmark Knight Frank (NASDAQ: NMRK), which is an affiliate of Cantor Fitzgerald, where he led national business development for the firm’s U.S. healthcare capital markets business. In that capacity, he led and grew a team that advised medical practices, health systems, institutional investors and developers across a range of services, regulatory environments and market conditions from 2012 to 2020. The advisory work focused on all aspects of growth, alignment, capital strategy and healthcare real estate. Specifically, his advisory services included strategic planning, portfolio strategy, cost reduction consulting, capital deployment, monetization strategy, investment sales, development advisory, location intelligence and lease advisory.

Dana started his career in Atlanta, Georgia with Univest Holdings, a private real estate firm focused on value-add investments. During his 10 year tenure, he directly managed a portfolio of real estate investments which included medical office, retail, office, mixed-use and land development projects in the Southeastern U.S. His responsibilities included investment strategy, asset management, acquisitions, construction management, development, financing, leasing, property management and dispositions.

Dana earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Alabama. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Restoration Atlanta, a non-profit serving homeless women and children. He’s a member of North Point Church. He lives in Johns Creek, Georgia and enjoys family adventures, fitness, motorcycles and traveling.

Christine Gorham, CCIM

Managing Director

Christine Gorham is a seasoned veteran with over 30 years of healthcare and real estate experience and recently served as global President for CREW Network where she led their 12,000 member organization.  She has over a decade of healthcare operations experience in strategic and financial roles and has a passion for providing leadership to independent physicians and providers in the areas of growth, capital and real estate.

During her career, Christine has worked with and advised several of the nation’s leading healthcare systems, independent providers and institutional investors.  She previously served as Director of Development of Caddis, a national healthcare real estate platform, where she led strategic partnerships with health systems and independent physicians.  She understands how to navigate the healthcare ecosystem, ambulatory strategy, and physician alignment.

Prior to Caddis, Christine served as CEO of Eastwood Real Estate Services, National Director of Asset Management for SRS Investments and held strategic roles across a decade-long career at Northside Hospital System in Atlanta.

Christine is a frequent speaker nationally and was awarded the 2020 Globe St. Women of Influence and 2021 Women of Influence by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.  She has served on numerous boards nationally and internationally and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Christine earned a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration in Finance from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.  She’s a CCIM designee and a graduate of the CREW Network Leadership Cohort led by Harvard and MIT faculty.

Christine enjoys time with her husband and three boys, Clemson football, travel, live music, and outdoor sports.

Richard Gerakitis

Managing Director

Richard Gerakitis has worked in the healthcare sector for 15 years and served some of the largest, most successful and fastest-growing independent physician practices, healthcare providers and institutional investors in the U.S.  His primary focus is in the healthcare capital markets space where he has advised on $500 million in complex real estate transactions. 

Prior to joining Hamric Capital, Richard worked for the healthcare capital markets group at Newmark (NASDAQ: NMRK).  In that role, he advised multiple medical practices, developers and investors on real estate strategy, lease optimization, dispositions and capital markets execution from 2015-2023.  

Richard also has a background in healthcare policy from his time serving as a Legislative Aide in the United States Senate.  He handled federal healthcare policy for 5 years, gaining a working knowledge of program language and the regulatory issues facing provider groups today.  He also developed his financial background while working at the Southern Company (NYSE: SO), one of the largest energy providers in the United States.  Richard held multiple roles as both a budget analyst and within the treasury department.   

Richard earned a Masters in Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia.  

Richard enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, outdoor activities, sports and reading.
